Wet Heat Project developed and staged a special exhibition that challenged four graduating BFA seniors from New World School of the Arts to conceive and produce a 1-day performative installation during the pinnacle of Miami's art season, the week of Art Basel Miami Beach.
With support from the sponsors listed below, Wet Heat Project provided a production budget and building coordinator, a review panel of mentor artists, and a prominent booth at the heavily trafficked Fountain Art Fair. On each of the four days of the fair, a student installed, performed (for up to 13 hours), dismantled and cleared the booth for the next student's installation late that night.
